Been meaning to check this place out after appearing on Bourdain’s Bronx episode some time ago. I came ready to indulge in some porcine goodness but alas… not ready 
Settled for the house special Mofongo Al Pilon con Chicharron de Pollo instead. First time having mofongo, a bit dry on it’s own, a generous dousing of gravy and garlic helps liven things up. Got some cuchifritos (offal stew) to go.
