Bacon-wrapped fried artichoke hearts

A photo reminded me of this. So good and so easy. NB: These are packed in water.

I use half a heart and a quarter slice of bacon.

Nice. Just inspired me to do Tempura artichoke hearts . No bacon . Anybody try this ? It would be a twist on the fried artichokes I had In Rome .

I have cooked that recipe with nice artichokes from Castroville. Reminded me of the ones I had in Rome from the Jewish district.
