there used to a chef called Robert Gadsby who cooked up a storm at his epoynmous Gadsby’s on LaBrea and then in the Omni Hotel in downtown who prepared foie four ways and one of them was a terrine with a coca-cola gelee.

Has he resurfaced anywhere ???

If so, his iconic, cheerful, idiosncratic preparation is the way to fucking go.

Each component is fucking outstanding, and the pear gives it some sweetness.

It’s the best 26 fucking dollar burger I’ve ever had.

this is definitely a fucking find which no one has mentioned when noting bachi burger.

I was guessing $40 for the burger.

I’m going to take a WAG and say $26.

Papilles also has a pretty good foie terrine on their menu. I believe it’s a $15 supplement to their prix fixe menu but it is a very generous portion so can easily be shared.
