Best soft-serve in Los Angeles (moved from NYC board)

I’ll add Rita’s Italian Ice. Yummeeee

Jon and vinny’s has good soft serve; the rest of their food… insipid.

How much is Jon & Vinny’s Soft Serve?

6 bucks plus a mandatory 18% shit “service charge”

ok, i am completely ignorant about pitfire soft serve.
are you talking about the pitfire pizza places, like the one on washington blvd near the marina?

i really like frozen desserts. . . .

Pitfire Pizza offers Straus Family organic soft serve ice cream as part of their dessert offerings or “Sweets”.

omg
THANK YOU!!!

I lose track of where Pitfire ranks on the WSG totem pole of pizza greatness, but if you like soft serve, then just based on their soft serve offering alone, Pitfire should be bumped up at least one notch, if not two. Or three.

Go get’em.

Possible to get it to go ???

Thanks fuckers. :grinning:

Sweet Cream at Sweet Rose

Hi westsidegal,

Have you ever tried Bulgarini Gelato? Pretty darn amazing (the original Pasadena / Altadena location).

I was shocked to see WSG post about eating in K-town, so I don’t know if she’s going to make it as far east as Altadena!

@snoozebutton: is Rita’s Italian Ice the place on Sepulveda and Olympic (or is it Pico?)? I’ve passed the place many times but have never stopped in…

Rita’s has a shop in Culver City at Sepulveda and Washington Blvd. It’s in that cluster of relatively new eateries on the property that used to be a car dealership.

I’ll add Bruxie but its custard not soft serve. Love the sundae with peanuts, waffle cone and chocolate sauce.

Anybody have the Fosselman soft serve at Dog Haus? I love their ice cream but haven’t had Fosselman soft serve.

The Custard at Pier Burger Santa Monica is pretty darn good…

It’s a chain!

Each location seems to be an independently owned franchise, I think. Wonder if they all taste the same…

It’s in the NW corner minimall at Sepulveda & Pico.

I’ve wondered that too @paranoidgarliclover… the couple of Rita’s locations that I’ve tried so far have been pretty consistent.

This is a great thread cuz now I have new spots to try out, like Pitfire. =)
