Coffee Jelly, where to try in Southern California

I was watching the show Japanology Plus - Coffee last night on Youtube and at the end of the show he had Coffee Jelly.
I’ve never seen this before or tried it, it’s quite the thing in Japan he said.
Anyone know where to get Coffee Jelly here in Southern California?

Japanology Plus - Coffee

That’s British English.

Actually you can buy those prepackaged coffee jelly at 99 Ranch Market and some Japanese Market in Southern California such as Mitsuwa, Tokyo Central, etc.

Easy… Try Hamada-Ya at the Centinela Mitsuwa food court. Get the coffee jelly milk - Yum.

Hi @J_L!
Have you tried the danish bread by Hamada-Ya that is sold in the Mitsuwa market? I highly recommend it. It also makes a killer pain perdu if treated properly.

… Thanks for the lead! And the Hamada-Ya cold chicken baguette sandwich with cilantro is quite tasty as well!

It’s not an uncommon additive to boba drinks. I actually prefer it instead of boba. My favorite is at Dingleberrys.

What a name, clever for boba but never understood the mixing toilet and food culture together.
Looks good tho, driven by the place many times.

Will try it!
The danish bread is sliced thick and labeled Boloniya Plain (they do a matcha version, too).

Yeah I know… I wasn’t too amused by the name but someone’s who’s taste in boba vouched for it and now it’s my favorite in the area. They brew the tea and use fresh fruits. Plus, the Coffee Jelly…
