Wow, I need to try those as well!

Did not know they deliver! That is a fabulous hospital perk up idea!

And also the size of a small child’s face.

Yes… It’s great. Last year I wanted to give my co-workers something, but didn’t make it to Eagle Rock Bakery before leaving for the holidays. I work near Westwood and called Diddy Reese on short notice. They packaged some cookies in cute boxes & tins and delivered them to my office. It was only about $5 - $10 per person.

Tip: If you send the cookies w/flowers you have to go thru Westwood Flower Garden and they handle everything.

Yeah, those chocolate chip cookies at Clementine are fab! I used to get the 1/2 sandwich combo from them all the time, so I could indulge in their cookies.

How are the cookies at Diddy Reese? They’re an LA institution, but I’ve never tried them.

It’s hard to beat them when you take price into consideration. That said, I would never go out of my way for a Diddy Riese cookie. If I’m Westwood, or near UCLA, and have already parked, I might drop in and get an ice cream cookie sandwich just to scratch my It’s-It itch. Especially if I decide to go to Gushi for a bulgolgi bowl instead of Mesa Brazilian Grill for a picanha bowl.

LOL… So ipse answered your question for me perfectly. It’s a good cookie though.

Ditto on the half sandwich combo at Clementine. But, if I need a caffeine boost or feeling disciplined I switch out the cookie for the tropical iced tea .

From my own kitchen! Oatmeal with chocolate or butterscotch chips. Sorry, I know, wrong answer.

If that’s the wrong answer then we’re all asking the wrong question.

Baroo. Their chocolate chip cookie is often overlooked but it’s damn good

It’s not the wrong answer if you’re sharing .

The Dulce de Leche Kisses from Portos. Not a huge sweets fan, not a huge Portos fan. But these, get me every time…

My kids have enjoyed them since they were well, kids. The only thing I like about them is the price, they are very inexpensive. They are thick and have no crispness and the quality of ingredients just isn’t there. If I’m gonna eat cookies, along with the accompanying calories I skip Diddy Reese and hit up a place that bakes a higher quality product. Several good ones have already been mentioned here, another of my favorite chocolate chip cookies was at The Curious Palate on Venice Blvd. west of the I-405 but it is now permanently closed. I see that they reopened at the Santa Monica Place Mall and probably still make them but haven’t been there.

I may have missed it, but I’d say Sycamore Kitchen’s Rye Chocolate Chip cookie is pretty damn great.

Nonetheless, like @cookiemonster, I find it much easier and more enjoyable to bake cookies at home.

Uncle Eddie’s Oatmeal Raisin Vegan Cookies at Wholefoods. I’m not a vegan and oatmeal raisin is not my favorite cookie. This is not my favorite vegan cookie, it is my favorite cookie! I don’t know how they do it. It tastes buttery, crispy, chewy, sweet & salty. I love you Uncle Eddie!

OH Uncle Eddies… I quit buying those so many years ago b/c like Keebler Fudge Sticks (please don’t judge!) I can’t buy them for fear of eating the entire box/bag.

These joints that can be found at any respectable Armenian bakery are just amazing when fresh.
