I know you’ve all been very worried about our Christmas lunch situation. Accordingly, I am pleased to inform you that after only a 10 minute wait, our party of 7 sat down to a very nice lunch at 101 Noodle Express in Alhambra. The wait seemed longer when we left at about 1.30.

Man, those beef rolls are good.

We had 11 people and among other things, ordered three plates of different kinds of fried rice, four orders of spring rolls, and a plate of lo mein.

We did not have sea cucumber or shellfish, but I got to watch from across the table as my my son showed his little cousins how to eat duck with steamed buns.

The wait at Sea Harbour today for dim sum (Wednesday, two days after Christmas) was 20 minutes at about 11.20 am. When we were leaving the lines were longer still. Madness. But, it was very good indeed: they seem to have a number of new things on the menu since our last visit a while ago.
