where do i find a good version? ideally on the west side
Not on the west side, not shown on their web menu, but: Petit Trois/Valley was serving OeM for breakfast/brunch a few weeks ago.
Like everything else there I’d expect it to be somewhat over-the-top.
The drive isn’t too onerous off peak-traffic hours.

Just got the Bistro LQ menu for his cassoulet series and oeufs en meurette is on there. I think he’s doing it out in Malibu as well as his home in Highland Park. I highly recommend his dinners. We have followed him from restaurant to pop up to supper club and have never been disappointed.
