I just saw that J. Kenji Lopez-Alt of Serious Eats is doing a fried chicken sandwich popup tonight at Tasty Food in Rosemead from 5:30-9:30 to promote his new book. There’s a Facebook events page where you can RSVP and it’s already at 378 people.
Was thinking of going but would have been a trek for me, plus I wasn’t sure if the fried chicken sandwich was free or what the cost was (not listed on the Facebook page unless I somehow missed it).
