Do you like sweet and salty pastries? Then, the salted caramel scone is your calling. Caramel mixed dough, baked and then the end-product is topped with Himalayan sea salt. It’s a nice balance of sweet and salty (but certainly more sweet than savory) with a very light texture unlike most scones. Biscotti-lite, might be a good way to describe it.
But if you have no sweet tooth and just want something savory, and more filling? Then try their egg sandwiches. Get the original, which comes with Black Forest Ham, fried egg, bacon (optional) and … wait for it … homemade tartar sauce. This is genius. Why doesn’t everyone use tartar sauce on their egg sandwiches.
There are other things, cakes, tarts, other sandwiches, but, really, if I could have an egg sandwich, and then finish off the meal with a scone and a cup of espresso, I’d be one OK blue-faced idiot.
Oh, and did I mention that they’re gluten-free?
