NOW can avocado toast die?

I’m pretty sure they are using Hass, so you may want to let your avocados ripen a lot more. I’ve noticed in SF the avocados are rarely served super ripe, except in guacamole, and often not even then. (I have not eaten avocado toast in SF.)

I get my avocados at the same Brokaw / Will’s Berkeley farmers market stand as that cafe. They’re perfectly ripe.

(1) It tastes better when you don’t have to make it yourself; and/or,
(2) You need a different toaster; and/or,
(3) The cafe’s plates aren’t cleaned properly and you have extra seasoning from the prior diner

I didn’t think about the toaster being a variable. I think theirs does do a better job.
