Petit Trois Le Valley [L.A. Times]

I’m happy abut this. But I honestly don’t understand why someone would come all the way from France to live in Sherman Oaks. We have the Pacific Ocean, for goodness sake.

They could afford a house there?

Hey hey Sherman Oaks is a mere 20 minute jaunt from Santa Monica with no traffic  Also he’s got the added benefit of being just down the block from The Coffee Roaster

Don’t tell me. Let me guess. You live on the Westside.

probably takes just as long to get to santa monica from century city.

Not everyone might know this, but the Lefebvre residence is pretty close to the new Petit Trois Le Valley location. Like all us mere mortals, Chef Ludo also says ‘Hallelujah!’ (except his silent French ‘H’ is in full effect here) to shorter commute times. Can I get an ‘Amen’?

Wonder if he lives near Yasiel Puig?

Maybe they’re in the porn industry.

Too far east. Friend of a friend told me.

Went today and it was really fantastic. Food was as good as the Highland location, with some dishes, like their pate, being even better than I recall. Their bread and butter remains my favorite version in the city. Also nice to see a broader menu. They have a trout dish on the menu that I don’t remember seeing at the other location and is out of this world. Ludo, Jon & Vinny were all in the kitchen.

So damn happy to have this place in the general area. It gives me some small semblance of solace, given horrible life in this shithole that Bookwich clearly sees right through.

You are so lucky.

Sup! who’s baking their bread?

I believe he still uses Clark Street Bakery, which also has a stall at Grand Central Market.

I live on the northside of the valley. For the life of me, I can’t imagine why anyone would drive across the desolate valley to get to the lowly Sherman Oaks for some average French Fare, has he no shame? I will save my abundant nights out for The Island’s Fine Burgers staple and the occasional splurge at Musashi. GL Ludo, ya nob.

the bread and butter is the only thing REALLY REALLY good here, like outstanding lol.

Average if you were in Paris.

Yeah, but then you’d be surrounded by Parisians, not to be mistaken.
