Rappahannock Oyster Bar (Arts District): A Pictorial Essay

Man you would think a place like that would have someone who expo and think,”those egg yolks look over cooked”

I’m curious what you said to the waiter to get the dish replaced.

Sergio (Chef Nick Erven) is no longer there…

I actually told the waiter that everything was fine except that the eggs are basically soft boiled. While he offered to replace it, I told him that it’s fine since I don’t like wasting food. Despite my objection, he replaced it anyway so gotta give him props for trying!

I don’t doubt that this restaurant was good once, but dinner today was terrible. Airport quality. There are very good restaurants with nice patios nearby (Factory Kitchen and Brera). Depressing to waste a meal.

They lost Nick Erven a while ago. It was pretty good once

Rappahannock was quite lively this afternoon. We sat across the way and saw plenty of folks enjoying the afternoon on their patio.
Steady flow of people from 1 - 4PM.

Yah, love the outdoor area. Can’t complain about the food because we’ve only had cocktails & oysters… because oyster bar. They both were yummy.
