Stopped by Refresh and they are now offering a braised pork belly dish that comes with a whole boiled egg and white rice. A side of pickled mustard greens also comes with it. According to the owner, the greens are pickled in house. Good sized portion for $8.50 Tender pork, sauce had some solid depth. It is not highly spiced. I was half expecting a star anise punch that didn’t show up. Overall, I think it’s a tasty dish for great value.
They are also offering a plain greek style yogurt cup for $2.75. Owner says he’s fermenting it himself with a greek starter. I’m not a yogurt expert by any means and someone else will have to chime in on how it compares.
