Drove out to Pt. Reyes Station today so my husband could enjoy the excellent corned beef hash at the Pine Cone, but it was not to be. The windows were papered over, and a sign thanked all of us who had been customers. The person in the consignment store next to it said the owner had decided that it was time to pack it up. We will really miss it, cranky waitresses and all.

I didn’t think the food there was very good. Probably should have ordered the hash.
Been going there for years. I would sit at the counter, load up on a biscuit and gravy breakfast and be good for the whole day. It will be missed.
