Went to Ronan for the first time on Saturday (got stuck in Biden traffic twice—fun!) and really liked it. Focaccia with the whipped butter was fantastic, pizzas (mushroom, margherita, lemon spigarello) had a great flavorful crust with interesting toppings, and the carrots + yogurt were a fantastic combo…only wish the carrots were even a little more roasted to add some more crispy burnt pieces. The skin of the chicken was super flavorful though I did think the meat got a little dry besides the legs. Everybody else loved the Caesar salad while I would’ve liked a bit more punch. Having the full bar is a definite win as most of the pizza specialists tend towards beer/wine, and I thought my cocktail (the Archer) was well balanced.
Overall it was worth the absurd traffic, and I even was able to get to Pauley Pavilion in time for tip (thanks to Oregon getting stuck in the same traffic but I digress).
