My guess is that the Tsubaki one requires advanced purchases so there may be a set menu paired with pours of Shichida sake, and might be the more interesting one. The female PR rep for Sake Man may be co hosting.
Izakaya Takasei is in Fullterton, and the brewery being promoted is Suehiro (Gensai, Ken, and the exclusive Ichigo Junmai Ginjo brewed for Shunji)
Torihei’s event can’t really tell from the photo what will be featured but likely from the Sakeman portfolio as part of JFC International. One of the bottles is Harada (Yamaguchi prefecture) and the other is an interesting Okayama Bodaimoto Junmai Nigori that may be worth trying (otherwise the only other place you can buy it is from True Sake)
Too bad I’m not in town, otherwise I would go check it out. Not often there are sake events around, so for those interested in trying/learning/understanding more these are excellent opportunities.
Apparently, this is the opening event for “Delicious Little Tokyo”. Many random food and cultural events this weekend. For this sake thread: a new restaurant called Sake Dojo is doing some kind of class/tasting event. And cocktail mixing lessons at Wolf and Crane.
