From Jonathan Gold’s rave about the nam prik oom, I expected something more exciting and a lot spicier (it’s just Serranos, not bird chiles), but it was very good.
Maybe the best northern Thai sausage I’ve had. Seriously good. Liked it well enough that I went back for more another day.
On my second visit I got the crisp pork cakes. Another great dish. The crunchy garlic and fried basil really make the dish.
