Making a 3-4 day visit in August and would like to find a nice B&B that won’t break the bank. Trying to stay as low as possible but I suppose $175/night and under would be the target, given the season. If you’d like to throw in some food recs that would be a bonus. Wineries I think I’m covered on.
Might be too late but we usually stay in Cambria when we go to the wineries. Lots of B&Bs along the beach, and a good selection of restaurants too.
Actually wound up using airline miles and stayed at the Carlton Hotel in Atascadero. Great, large room. Nothing picturesque, but close to SLO and Paso. Had a great time wine-wise. Food not so much.
