Thanks everyone for the suggestions, and the Il Cielo story. AOC and Il Cielo may work. Also thinking about Lucques. Spago and Bouchon has been vetoed already, unfortunately.

Lucques is a good choice for the event. It would seem to be just right. I have been to parties there and the service has always been great. Portions are generous, food delicious and noise level is bearable.
