It sounds strange to admit that I'm in my 60s -- I remember the 1960s as if they were yesterday! I spent some 40 years in the California and international wine trade -- in retail and restaurants; in wholesale and importing; and, working for wineries, in both production and marketing. I am married to an attorney and excellent home cook, and someone who has been in the same monthly "dining group" for 30+ years. We dine out frequently, and travel as often as possible, frequently visiting such locations as New Orleans, Las Vegas, and New York; the UK, Spain, and Portugal.
