Not holding my breath since this is such a new board, but I’m looking for recommendations for Seville. Will be there over the Christmas holiday and will have the ability to prepare meals, not stuck with having to eat out on holidays.
Would also like suggestions for Jerez, Ronda and Granada.
Granada:
Tapas are often free with paid drinks in Granada…
Bar FM - seafood & shellfish
El Ladrillo (Arab Quarter) - Start with tapas, then grab some dinner
Pasteleria Lopez Mezquita (on calle Reyes Catolico) - Traditional Andalusian pastries; try the Pastry Moruna (Moorish pastry, similar to the Moroccan b’stilla); good people-watching
Los Diamantes (2 locations around town, I think) - Try the Andalusian fried fish, decent tapas
Sevilla:
La Brunilda
Zelai- Modern tapas; definitely worth a try
Enrique Becerra - Specializes in Andalusian cuisine
Bar Eslava - Great for lunch
Not food, but check out the flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria
were in alora till nov 9 ;))
great food and having fun cooking things from the behemoth carrifoure which is like a big Spanish super walmart but better groceries. Cooking a bunch too so many pork products so little time.
These were delicious at https://www.regadera.es/
Lovely place in Cordoba.
We had an amazing lunch in seville at Eslava, mentioned seven years ago above.
