This was my favorite apple pie by a longshot, and I’ve never found anything quite like it, especially that top crust. Has anyone here found something quite similar? I read a while ago that a former baker of hers had started some baking business but never heard much else. (To the extent that BSB may grace us with a holiday pie available between 1137 and 1139 AM on a day in November to be announced 15 minutes before the pies are released, or something similar, I’m not going to bother.)
