I got several friends to go in to buy eight pounds of this stuff (lower shipping cost per pound) and kept two for myself. That turned out to be a lot, since it’s the smokiest ingredient I’ve ever used short of Liquid Smoke. One slice can make the kitchen smell like a railroad tie. Definitely good to have a Foodsaver for this.

Their hams are great as well.

$32 for 4 - 1 lb packages sounds like a good deal. But when you add shipping, it’s an extra $25.

Yeah, that’s why I bought eight pounds. Came to $11.52 per pound delivered. And the stuff is so intense that the two pounds I kept for myself might last a year or two.
