I can’t recall who it is here who likes black sesame things (maybe @paranoidgarliclover?) but thought I’d forward the info (photo of said pancake in the linked post):
Yes, I do love black sesame. 
While I enjoy black sesame ice cream (the one time I had it), I still didn’t think it had enough of the intense of the black sesame hit I crave. I’d be surprised if they could get enough of a black sesame flavor (for my taste) into a pancake w/o ruining the texture.
I don’t think I’ve ever been in San Bruno, but I’ll keep this in mind. Thanks!
And, yes, that is INDEED such an unfortunate name.
