Imperial Seafood in SF predated ABC in LA, and in SF Harbor Village predated and was better than Koi Palace (and maybe any other place that has opened around here since).

Well, not every signature (in my opinion) restaurant was at the start of the wave, and I did try to make that distinction when I wrote the article. Unfortunately, in the editing process they deleted some of the language that made that distinction, leading to some misleading conclusions as to what I was trying to say.

I thought the piece was solid, just a little LA-centric.
