You haven’t seen read some of the other sites (well, one of the other sites) I frequent. Although, to be fair, most of the talk on that other site are about interest for loans, not for credit cards. But the underlying rhetoric is the same. One poster on the site literally used the phrase “credit criminal” to describe someone who accepted (or couldn’t qualify for anything other) than an high interest rate loan… The posters are also largely male (I think), so the whole misogyny angle is also hard to miss.
I do find reading their views to be… educational, esp since 2016 was a harsh reminder of who is actually in the bubble (me, and presumably many posters here). But it also leaves me wondering about the future of our world…
