Din Tai Fung @ South Coast Plaza?

What are some SF XLBs that you like please?

I don’t know what you guys are talking about. I went there a couple weeks ago and it was spot on. There might be better dumplings elsewhere, and for sure one of the LA locations is better, but this place has consistency across most of the menu that I tried. Also, their cocktails are solid.

You weren’t kidding.

That chicken soup is very very good. I wish it came with a bigger portion.

So yeah get the chicken soup guys!!!

Dude, I wouldn’t do you wrong.

I like the fried rice. It’s delicate and light.

I usually avoid fried rice. It tastes of leftover meat and leftover rice, stir fried with soy sauce and oil to make it palatable. When I first discovered “white” or “egg” fried rice, I was very happy.

I thought fried rice was supposed to be made from ‘leftover’ rice. No?
