Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I had to google because of @PorkyBelly, but it’s okay because now I know I love:

GONADS

go·nad
ˈɡōnad/
nounPHYSIOLOGYZOOLOGY
an organ that produces gametes; a testis or ovary.
vulgar slang
a man’s testicles or genitals.

(Yes, the all caps is a nomination.)

So you’re also nominating physiologyzoology?

Nice vote. Would “Slow Cooked Foods” include Soups?

bbq?

Great point. Would it include BBQ as well?

I have to wonder if some food works better being very specific, while others - like this - may be better left more vague. Lots if opportunities.

I shall count BBQ as having 2 noms so far???

No! :stuck_out_tongue:

GOAT
FRIES
PIES (savory and sweet)
BEANS/LEGUMES

Slow-cooked is vague. I think something more specific would add a little competition to seeking out new foods. Otherwise we get a month of anything that took longer than an hour to cook.

PIES would be good considering the holidays.
FRIES are always great with me.
COOKIES would be appropriate for end-of-month festivities.
LATKES might be too narrow, but I anticipate heated debates about shredded vs. grated spuds.
