My partner says they are; they also remind him of slices he used to get in Baltimore. I don’t have enough knowledge/experience with whatever quantifies a NY Slice to really note the nuanced differences.

Thin, long, and slightly floppy. That’s a NY slice to me. Very nuanced, I know. :wink:

I think you’re older than me (don’t ask me why I think that… :wink: ), and I didn’t even like it that much back then. I always got their Italian sub instead of a slice. I recall that, several yrs after HS, when I finally DID have a slice in NY, I was like, “Tony’s LOOKS like a NY slice, but it’s only a poor facsimile.” And I thought Tony himself wasn’t very nice…
