I’m a huge fan of the lemon pepper wings at Gorilla Pies in North Hollywood/Valley Village. Pretty damn expensive, but they’re the best wings I’ve had in the city.

For Buffalo-style, the best (and only IMO) option is Ye Rustic Inn in Los Felizhttp://yerusticinn.com/http://yerusticinn.com/
a note on Ye Rustic as of late (last 6 months) - a precipitous drop in quality (sauce splitting, think they’re not cleaning the fryer well so lots of burned/off tastes). They’re coasting and don’t give a fuck, methinks.
I’m a huge fan of wings at Eszett. Smokey and delicious.

Ah missed it!
I must have a bunch - love Hero.
This is a good thread. Keep it going. I confess. I never buy wings out, too easy to season and throw in the oven or air fryer. But love me some good wings. I have had the wings at Rocco’s Weho. they have been hit and miss ( a friend likes them and I always try one).
One of my favorites is San Tung in SF if any of you happen to be in the city.
Vietnamese fish sauce wings also hits. That combination of garlicky, sweet, and umami fish sauce is wonderful.
Really I am happy with just about any Korean chicken place in Ktown or OC(Garden Grove/Buena Park/etc.)
RIP OB Bear.
Holy Basil is a sleeper. Find various aspects of the experience endlessly frustrating, but their food is on point, especially the wings.
My favorite is Eszett as well. Next best is Pizzeria Mozza.
I remember the time they called me one hour after I put in an order for delivery and said they were out of the chicken for the chicken curry. I asked if they would substitute tofu, and they said no – no substitutions. LOL. I just cancelled the order. But yeah, the food is good quality overall, and I still eat there.
Lemon pepper wings at Wing Ferno in Gardena. Extra $$ for all flats. #TeamFlats
Me too. My husband and I are the perfect wing couple. He likes the drummettes and I like the flats.
I know.
My partner and I are the perfect wing couple as well.
She doesn’t like wings.
This is the best type of wing couple lol!
I feel like LA sadly isn’t really a wing town. The Doughroom has pretty good wings. They are breaded, but they are tasty. Not my picture: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-doughroom-los-angeles?select=adPGey6O2bBBF8nLQ3fLcw.
