To be fair, this was EXCELLENT pizza.
I had the margherita, and I’d pick it over Mozza any day of the week.
I mean, look at the char on the bottom of that thing. It’s fucking art.
I had gone through two slices eating up to the crust and happily finishing it off plain, no olive oil, no balsamic, nothing. it was that good.
The place is fantastic IMO but I really can’t believe everyone who said they’d attend ended up bailing. Bummer.
Can’t wait to get my tooth fixed so I can head over there.

maybe next time a Sunday afternoon vs Saturday nite? I don’t know about everybody else, but my Saturdays are pretty packed. Sundays are slower and easier to fit additional things in.

Man, I feel so terrible reading this. I really did have my heart set on going, but got suckered into being the designated driver in Long Beach. By the time I got rid of everyone, it was too late for me to make the trek up to DeSano’s.
I was under the impression more people were going, so I didn’t think one less would have made much difference. How wrong I was.
I’m totally 100% committed to any future FTC gatherings.
