I think for SoCal that’s a superb idea. I bet there are lots of opportunities. We also make a (small) automatic, monthly donation to our local food bank.
i know of two other feedings at other public parks in pasadena where they’re paying for stuff out of their own pocket. my first goal is to subsidize their efforts, possibly through donations now that i can give tax writeoffs as well as identify any other potential activities that would be appropriate to approach to align with us. once we hit a number i consider to be critical mass, i plan on finishing grant applications for funding.
Right - the sodas have the biggest percentage markup and have no nutritional value; they are actually a big negative.

Was at PYT on Tuesday… The soft shell crab dish is now $36. Didn’t order it, so don’t know if the composition/amount of crab has changed.
