Cooked steaks and stuff for my dads birthday but the star of the show was the baked potato bar with all the fixings. So easy but a real people pleaser. Chili, bacon, cheese, broccoli, olives, jalapeños, green onion, butter and sour cream.

First pizza of the year. Done quickly in the ooni to puff and char the crust. Then finished in a 500 deg oven to get it crispy. Got a small tear in it which sucked, I am still pretty bad at launching larger pizzas

Add a little water and put it in something more or less airtight so it steams.

Cover the plate with a wet paper towel. It helps the steam in so the dish doesn’t dry out. You can also add just a few drops of water into the dish as well to help create more steam.

Moroccan Eggplant Salad from Dinner in French - pan-fried eggplant slices topped with a “ragu” made from oven-roasted yellow peppers, tomatoes, parsley, garlic, paprika, cumin and preserved lemon. Everything was topped with plenty of cilantro and mint as well as some lemon juice and olive oil. And served with some wiener wuerstchen
