I’ve come to appreciate the bar. Depending on the place, the service seems to be better there. But only for two, maybe three people. Otherwise, gimmie that table, baby!

Bar for sure if I’m solo. Table/booth for groups larger than two. My wife and I really like the bar/counter option with a lot of the places we go (Taco Maria, Shuck, DTF, for example).

I prefer eating in the bar as well…
I like high back bar stools, that are a solid back vs. Slotted or half back…
From a chicks point of view, along with comfort, we all look better from behind with the stool backs solid…
I’ve seen too many with their back fat, poking thru the back side and unbeknownst to them…present company, excluded…
