How Muslim-Chinese Food Became a Culinary Star in Kyrgyzstan

Available in Brooklyn.

This looks and sounds so so good. Any rendition in the US?

Whoa, that Brooklyn place looks great.

The Silk Road kiosk in SF’s Stonestown mall has owners from Kyrgyzstan, and they initially served a spaghetti with lagman sauce, which looked more like a Uyghur lagman sauce than that description or Ashlan Fu. That’s the only potentially Dungan/Hui influenced dish—- dishes I’d think to be Russian fill out the rest of the menu.

My friend who went to Lagman House said the meatball dish was the highlight.
