on jan 1 we will make a cheerful visit to the missus’ extended family’s plot at the rose hills cemetery in whittier. if history holds, this will end with 8-10 of us heading to the sgv for lunch. in the past we’ve hit 101 noodle and various dim sum shops. want to go somewhere new this year–but where? hit me with recommendations for places that are in the sweet intersection of good food, non-foodie crowd pleasing items on the menu, and unlikely to involve a long wait. ideally in alhambra or monterey park.
