Damn now I gotta go back to try Marumo and Serikenan. Both were on my list but ran out of time. Pizza on 38th too. So much food to try. We preferred Savoy to PST but would be happy to eat either again. The big difference was sitting at the counter at Savoy and getting the pizzas delivered immediately vs sitting at a table at PST.

For various reasons (honeymoon, Amex deal) we ended up staying at The Okura Heritage Tower. It’s very specific and very Mad Men.
Anyway, have a great trip! Excited to hear your report once you go.

Lol, so I have two sets of friends from different cities (Brooklyn and LA) who both have stayed here, so I’m giving it a shot. Embarrassed, kinda, to be following such a well-trodden trail of hipsterdom, but it’s decently priced and evidently in a good area.
