Ken - the bar manager for Manzke/Bicylette has joined the Kato team as of last week!
Had a great bday dinner at the bar on Tuesday with Ken running point. He was a delight. Those cocktails are so good
Gotta make their money from the 50 Best nod.
Bar tasting menu is going to be vastly different come summer. The sous’ are going to use it as their culinary playground. Should be cool!
Ooo so not just a greatest hits menu? Id still love to be able to dine at Kato for sub 200 so if it’s new dishes the bar menu might be my new go to. 325…dang.

Will post pics later but the finale of a dessert tamal with corn custard, brown butter, and a tin of @Clayfu 's eggs was a total banger. (Everything else was also great)
one of the strongest meals I’ve had at kato so far. so many nostalgic flavors, hot pot, shrimp toast, clams and basil… lamb was the best meat course I’ve had at kato, @562 commented it gave him feng mao vibes. a bowl of piping hot rice with some of the courses would have been perfect.
