It was a good piece but I really wish the LAT could figure out a way to start reviewing restaurants, stands, trucks and pop-ups again. They are paying folks to be restaurant critics who won’t, or can’t, do the job for whatever COVID related reasons.
If LAUSD can get teachers back on the job (or at least have a plan to do so), LAT should be able to review some food - even if it’s all outdoor or takeout experiences, that would be something. And very safe.

They have been reviewing takeout. At the moment they’re reportedly working on some special project so not for the past few weeks.
