Thank you A5KOBE and OCSteve. We tied to go to Shin Sen Gumi for Lunch today and I even called them to see if I can make a reservation. When we go there, we were told that they serve the BBQ only at night.
Oh well. We decided to give Olive Pit a try. We loved the lamb chops and found the salad that we had (the one with arugula) good but not great. Their greens were not as fresh as we like.
Sorry Olive Pit was disappointing. I haven’t been on awhile and only to their Brea location, so not sure if that was a fluke on the greens or not. I’m a fan of the lamb gyro as well.
Yeah, I usually go to the Brea location. I like the salads and the octopus appetizer. Sorry about the old greens. I really like the salad with the balsamic and feta. I think Greek salad.
If you like octopus, give it a shot. Salads are good for Brea if that makes sense.
We actually had the octopus and it was pretty good. It had a nice char.
