Hmmm I’ve eaten at that McDonald’s a couple times a year for 20+ years with no ill effects, so I’ll consider myself lucky!
Canyon Lodge is open on weekends through the end of April this year but with limited services. And no Canyon Express chair as they’ve started work to replace it.
Yes, I’ve been in Mammoth all week, and Canyon has been closed with all the work commencing on that chair. Only tickets and bathrooms open on weekends.
Since it’s a food board, I’ll add that I had a delicious combination plate of taco/enchilada at Roberto’s. Still the best margarita in town.
I was just in Mammoth a few weeks ago (and been a million times before). We had a fantastic dinner at The Restaurant at Convict Lake - better than any meal in Mammoth in recent memory.
I went to Lax-C on the way up and proceeded to make the khao soi from the Pok Pok cookbook.
