Majordomo's prices: threat or menace?

I’ve gone to Chi Spacca and not had that issue at all. Every dish there is fantastic. The waiter was the one who recommended I get the crispy rice and wagyu.

No bing?

I’d rather go to Majordomo than whatever this $1,000 per person thing is at Mother Wolf. But at least you get to meet the chef and have a potential private dining room upgrade.

Has anybody done this?

would you rather do the motherwolf thing or the Nisei $1000 pay2play chef deal?

Probably Mother Wolf because I’d get some food and wine vs cleaning garlic/peeling carrots all night and yelling ’ yes chef’. No way they’re letting me anywhere near a real station even for $1,000.

Looks like he just shopped and prepped. Once dinner service began, he was ushered out to 11 Course tasting menu with cocktails and felt the expenses totally worth it.

Nice. I can’t imagine I’d ever pay $1k for either of these experiences though. Majordomo at like $100-$150 per head is more my speed but it was better when my kids didn’t tag along and increase the overall cost from ~$250 to ~$500.

I’d rather pay $100 at McDonald’s for unlimited hash browns, fries, Shamrock Shakes and get to meet Ronald and Hamburglar.
