I didn’t know there were even two flavors. There was something less than one back in the day.
i once started a conversation with a girl in the supermarket checkout line. she had a six pack of mountain dew and a bag of nacho flavored doritos. she said she was getting a snack for her boyfriend. i asked if he was a computer programmer and she responded: “why yes! how did you guess?”.
the point is that people in IT drink/drank mountain dew for the high caffeine level, not the taste. not that the logic in code produced in a sleep deprived state bore inspection in the full light of day.
