Napa Valley Eating

Jeanty’s the only reason I’d go to Yountville and that patio is one of the best. Mmmm, crispy pig’s feet.

Just a note: Crispy pigs feet is boneless

fwiw- Hog Island Oyster Company at Oxbow is perfectly nice, and had lovely outdoor distanced seating. The oysters were, as expected, scrumptious, along with fresh crab and a grilled cheese sandwich made with selections from one of the cheese folks at the market.

Sure, none of it is exactly highly skilled cookery, it’s mostly just getting out of the way of really good ingredients, but hey, it’s a nice day in Napa. Nothing wrong with that.

So long as social distancing is enforced, Oxbow is probably way nicer than usual.

Phenomenal time at Jeanty last week. So glad she found it. One of the very few that allow a pet. Real French affair

Lamb tongue

Lyonnaise

Truly glorious cassoulet.

I need to plan a visit. There’s so little classic French food around here.

Very nice report. Our now departed @beefnoguy loves this place.

He isn’t on the board anymore? Too bad.
