Wayfarer bread is soft open (official is June 3) in bird rock (yes you can read Eater too), but I am a huge fan of crystal white’s previous work at LA bakery proof so Expect it will be really good.
Made it to Wayfarer bread. On Sunday at 11 am they were out of most things but did try a croissant which was delicious and easily one of the best I’ve had in SD (LA too) and ham and asparagus baguette sandwich. The bread was so good but the lady in front of me got the last two baguettes for the day. Great spot in La Jolla.
