And people wonder why I’m so critical of paying for overpriced bread here when this looks like absolutely scrumptious perfection.
You won’t pay $8 for the baguette at Republique but you are ok with the “free” bread basket at a place where you’d likely spend ~$750 per person depending on what you drink?

when did I say anything about Republique baguettes? If it’s that good I’d possibly try it.
I didn’t realize the expense that place was, I was just looking at the pictures and it looks absolutely delicious.
If you have been following my posts (which it seems you have been), you’d notice the criticism of bread items was not related to Republique at all. Try again.
