Old School Italian, Chinese or Classic Steakhouse

That was my suggestion too. But the folks want a steakhouse specifically for some reason.

They have these at China Live, too. Are Dutch Crunch buns a thing now?

IMO, Sam’s went into a decline in the Phil Lyons period. I’ve been there twice since Peter Quartaroli took over (he’s worked there since the 90’s, I believe), and it seems almost back to where it was when the Seput family owned it.

Good news. I’m looking forward to going back.

Not remotely old-school, but Cockscomb often does great modern versions of classic SF dishes such as celery Victor.
