Just read the Original Din Tai Fung on Baldwin is closing after 20 years.
That’s my favorite location to visit, too. So sad for them.

Obviously they have many locations but I am so sad to see the original go. Arcadia is my hometown and I remember when Din Tai Fung first opened and how excited our community was. It felt like a real culinary claim to fame and what our city was known for within the county.

The original is was the tastiest of the DTF locations in SoCal; it was closest to the Taiwan locations in quality control and consistency. I am very, very sad to see this location shuttered.
