Paella Party by Savory Roads (FTC Meetup): A Pictorial Essay

I assume you’ve had the paella from Doña Juana La Española in Harbor city. Or is it Lomita?

I just want to give a shout out to the paella at El Coraloense. It is officially a Mexican seafood restaurant, I think Sinaloa style. However they had how cuckoo trained in Spain and they have won competitions and placed in paella competitions internationally
I think one has to special order. Just a heads up

Has anyone tried the paella at Loquita in Santa Barbara?

Yes, it was pretty good, but I liked Savory Roads better. If I was going to Loquita, I’d prefer to order other items instead. More Pane con Tomate :woman_shrugging:t2: vs paella. I’d probably stuff my face with more Pane Con Tomate.

Yes! Exactly my thoughts on Soulmate (WeHo) as well…

Clearly, I need to find 25 friends to make this paella party happen at my house.

Not really. Just find 10 or so people, and one J_L who can eat 12 portions of paella all on his own. #PaellaPacMan

(Seriously though, we had a ton of leftover paella from CiaoBob’s party - it reheats ridiculously well…)

That is a skill and a talent @J_L!
